Critical thinking has always been one of the key skills not only in learning but in life in general. With the advent of artificial intelligence and the proliferation of all kinds of information online, critical thinking has become a pressing skill.
Over the years, I have shared a wide range of resources to help teachers and parents develop this skill among their kids and students. From TED talks discussing the intricacies of critical thinking to activities and digital tools, our critical thinking section here in Educators Technology is full of ready made resources to use in your class.
In today’s post, I am sharing this collection of posters I have been working on for the last few weeks. I used Canva Pro to design these visuals. The purpose is to provide you with visual aids to use with your students in your class. The posters cover various topics related to critical thinking more specifically:
– The Critical Thinking Circle (4 posters) – A visual breakdown of the essential steps in the critical thinking process.
– Question and Imagine: The Catalyst of Creativity (2 posters) – Encourage students to ask questions and let their imagination soar.
– Collect & Compare: The Power of Diverse Perspectives (3 posters) – Highlight the importance of considering different viewpoints.
– Decide & Reflect: Completing the Critical Thinking Cycle (2 posters) – Guide students through decision-making and reflection.
– Characteristics of Critical Thinkers (2 posters) – Showcase the traits of strong critical thinkers.
– Critical Thinking Questions (1 poster) – A quick reference for sparking meaningful discussion.
– Boost Your Critical Thinking: Quick Reminders for Every Day (2 posters) – Practical tips to keep critical thinking at the forefront.
– Critical Thinking Skills Examples (2 posters) – Real-world examples to illustrate critical thinking in action.
– Problem-Solving in Action (2 posters) – Encourage strategic thinking through problem-solving activities.
– THINK Before You Speak (10 posters) – A popular visual guide to help students pause and think critically before responding.
These posters are available for a discounted fee and come in different formats including PDF, PNG, and editable Canva formats. For those of you who want to further edit the posters, they can use the embeded link in the file. However, keep in mind that I used several materials that are only available to Canva Pro users. So unless you are a premium user you will not be able to customize or use those items.
I hope you will find the insights and visual content in those posters helpful. I made the posters available for purchase through various stores including our Educators Technology Shop, Teachers Pay Teachers, or our shop in Gumroad.
